REAL AUDIO   SPEAK UP!
Say it loud, because there may be someone listening who really cares and needs to hear what you have to say.

One day I was in a supermarket and overheard one woman say to her friend "You know Mary you really need to add more vegetables to your diet. If you want a better chance at living longer vegetables are a healthy way of giving your body and mind what it needs." It sounded like a commercial. I almost started to look around for a T.V. camera. As corny as it was it was not unlike the conversations my friends and I have had. Unfortunately it can be a difficult conversation to have with a stranger. Yet a message delivered from the heart is never ignored. What you pass on as trivial may really have a lasting impact on someone's life. You may not be around to see what kind of impact it ultimately has but I'd like to think that somewhere along the line you get "credit" for it. This is all the payment you should realistically expect.

The fear of not being accepted prevents some people from speaking out. This topic isn't about everyone else it's about you the reader. As human beings we don't always need confirmation from others to feel acceptance or validity. We have the ability to accept ourselves. Others who feel what you feel don't always let you know that you share the same philosophy or for that matter tell you anything at all. Just don't let it stop you from stretching your own consciousness. The need for expression is so necessary for our full developments as human beings that to ignore that vital part of your being would be like only allowing a baby trying to walk on their own 85% of the time. You would never hold back a baby from learning to walk and you would not have wanted anyone to have held you back either. Not to complicate this anymore than I already have. If my friends had never spoken up to me a long time ago I would not have had the courage to speak up to you today. And I thank them to this day for it. Thank you.
