When working with any images that you intend on posting to a web site do your best to keep the image as small as possible without sacrificing too much quality. Try and keep it under 72kb. Some of these animated gifs will load slowly so I recommend getting a snack while you are waiting. These are some of the first gifs that I created and I learned a great deal from them. Hopefully you will learn what to do and what not to do. Remember "Time for Asnack" is not about food it's about food for thought. Enjoy!

Instead of telling you about keeping your file sizes small I thought I would show you. Please check out the rest of these gifs after you have seen the originally titled " A little too much time on his hands!"
Here I tried to give the illusion that I was hoola-hooping. Using a hoola-hoop might have been more successful but not as fun. I'm still looking for that colander if any has seen it. (460kb) Too big!
When setting up your shots make sure your camera is on a flat surface or tri-pod because even a slight variation will be obvious. That's what happened here but I made the best of it anyway. (137kb) Too big!
I scanned these series of images from a magazine. I never intended on posting it. My cut and paste job was pretty bad but I never intended on posting it. Even so it's worth waiting for. (303kb) Too big!
What can I say with this monster? I had an idea and I went with it. I purposely didn't try and fix any of these because I had an idea I was going to do a before and after display. Even if you have a good connection I would still go do some shopping and come back and it should be finished loading. (500kb) This isn't a gif it's a movie!
David had no idea what I had planned for him when he came over, but I did. Here I'm really starting to get the idea. This one is funny and it loads fast.(102kb) This one is silly!
Out of these series of gifs this is the one that I'm most proud of. It has a nice combination of file size and music. Looks and loads very cleanly. I hope it will be your favorite too. (104kb)

STILL HUNGRY?
